Psalm 138:1-3 (ERV)
A song of David.
Lord, I praise you with all my heart.
I sing songs of praise to you before the gods.
I bow down toward your holy Temple,
and I praise your name for your love and loyalty.
You are famous,
and doing what you promised will make you even more famous!
When I called to you for help,
you answered me and gave me strength.
Have you ever encountered a situation where no matter how hard you try, it seems you are being defeated every step of the way. I certainly have and sometimes this road that we travel may make us feel like we are failing but we cannot and should not give in to this feeling.
1 John 4:4(ERV) reads
My dear children, you belong to God, so you have already defeated these false prophets. That’s because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.
Romans 8:30-31(NIV) reads
And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified. What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
God has given all of us what we need to live triumphant lives and not to live our lives opening the door to defeat. To be conquerors and not believe the naysayers and those who do not want to see us fulfill our calling.
Affirm: I am a conqueror through Jesus Christ who has equipped me with all I need to live a victorious life and to realize his call on my life. It is well and I am well.
