Tips for improving your state of mind.

Let me start with this disclaimer, these were tips that I wrote down from a conference I attended sometime ago. I do not remember the speaker but I thought they would be good to share.

Improving your state of mind

 

Improving your state of mind should involve:-

  • Smile.
  • Ask God for guidance.
  • Plan your day ahead then work your plan.
  • Keep your plan in mind and maintain your focus.
  • Be detached from the outcome – sometimes outcomes are good, sometimes they are bad. Accept it for what it is and move on.
  • Challenge yourself , try something new.
  • Balance your desires – Spiritual, Physical & Emotional.
  • Be realistic in goal setting – this is so important, create a plan of action and how you are going to get there.
  • Keep track of your physical and mental health.
  • LOVE YOURSELF.

  • Ask questions.
  • Be open and trust people.
  • Forgive and forget.

  • Have a passion for whatever you do.
  • BELIEVE IN YOURSELF.

Bettering our best has to be a way of life; we do that when we consistently strive to improve our state of mind  so that we can enjoy life in a more meaningful and fulfilling way. Admittedly we are human and prone to weakness, we have shortcomings which makes us sometimes hard on ourselves. Our worth sometimes takes a back road and becomes lost but there is always a way that we can find ourselves, take control and begin to better our best.

As we take the first step we should look inwards trying  to identify what those weaknesses and shortcomings are, then we will be in a position where we can choose to correct them so our end result is a more fulfilled and blessed life.
