What do you want from life?

Is this a question you ask yourself a lot, and are you able to answer in a way that resonates and satisfies you completely? Is your answer a possibility or, do you believe your desire is farfetched? If you think it is farfetched, what will you do? Will you walk away, or will you intentionally share space with impossibility?

How do we move our thoughts from impossibility to possibility?
Here is how:

As Christians, we must not live thinking that we control life’s trajectory. How do you wake each morning? Is it you? Who provides for you? Is it you? Similarly, when we hear thoughts that silently whisper—it is impossible, do we agree, or, do we remember who makes all things possible.

Very recently I was inspired to look up a passage of scripture—Hebrews 11, the whole chapter was dedicated to demonstrating to us what faith does and how it works—and that means the results the prophets in the Bible experienced by exercising faith.

Hebrews 11 is a great reminder and lesson that we must live by faith and allow faith to transform our impossibilities into possibilities. There is also a bit of caution within the passage that suggests that not everything we hope for, we will get, simply because, at the end of it all, God knows what is best for us individually and what will collectively benefit his plans. Everything has already been orchestrated and set in motion by God; whatever we are hoping for is not a surprise to Him. Everything is already decided, and most times, opportunities and blessings pass us by because of weak faith or no faith at all.

So, what will it be? Will you keep relying on your efforts, or will you get a yes on the things that are meant for you by God? Will you intentionally live each day by faith, knowing that all that is to come will come?

“So, don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. “So, don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.
Matthew 6:31-34 NLT

You have what you need by faith

Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see. By faith, these people (prophets) overthrew kingdoms, ruled with justice, and received what God had promised them. They shut the mouths of lions, quenched the flames of fire, and escaped death by the edge of the sword. Their weakness was turned to strength. They became strong in battle and put whole armies to flight. Women received their loved ones back again from death…
Hebrews 11:1, 33-35 NLT

I urge you to read all of Hebrews 11, especially when doubts resurface in your mind. Remember all happens (demonstrated in Hebrews 11) by us simply exercising our faith whether we see results or not.

Have faith as you walk with Jesus.
