How Important Is Your Salvation? Check The Pulse Of Your Situation.

 “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”

Acts 16:30-31

In a world filled with rife, you may want to check the pulse of your situation. Are you experiencing the same or is your experience one of peace and knowing what your eternity will be like. You see rife/strife comes to our lives in different ways and result is us judging each other and believing we are better than others, I sometimes have to shake my head.

Newsflash:

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Romans 3:23

The beauty of it all is that we have received salvation through Christ. This salvation gives usm a free pass into heaven, it is a clearance to say , I know you, I understand you and if you “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”

We must talk about daily Repentance and that must be our stance as well as striving to be our best, not to please God but to keep persevering in righteousness.

So what do we do? Keep on sinning so God can keep on forgiving? I should hope not! If we’ve left the country where sin is sovereign, how can we still live in our old house there? Or didn’t you realize we packed up and left there for good? That is what happened in baptism. When we went under the water, we left the old country of sin behind; when we came up out of the water, we entered into the new country of grace—a new life in a new land! That’s what baptism into the life of Jesus means. When we are lowered into the water, it is like the burial of Jesus; when we are raised up out of the water, it is like the resurrection of Jesus. Each of us is raised into a light-filled world by our Father so that we can see where we’re going in our new grace-sovereign country.

Romans 6:1-5

Daily repentance is important, it is us forming a habit that promotes a life that is strife free. A habit that allows grace to abound in our life, leading us straight to that wonderful place that has been prepared for us. A habit that allows us to accept what God had prepared in advance for us, freedom from a life of sin. Sin keeps us in bondage but repentance frees us. Listen to what David said after he had sinned but was yet to repent.

When I kept it all inside, my bones turned to powder, my words became daylong groans. The pressure never let up; all the juices of my life dried up. Then I let it all out; I said, “I’ll come clean about my failures to God.” Suddenly the pressure was gone—my guilt dissolved, my sin disappeared. These things add up. Every one of us needs to pray; when all hell breaks loose and the dam bursts we’ll be on high ground, untouched.

Psalm 32:3-6

Salvation is the state of being saved or protected from harm or a dire situation. In religion and theology, salvation generally refers to the deliverance of the soul from sin and its consequences. – en.wikipedia.org.

It is a gift from God and so is the ability to repent. Consider on these things, make sure that repentance is a stance, a stance that allows you to be on top of the pulse of your life. The pulse that helps you to keep yourself and family in right standing with our Redeemer and Lord, Jesus Christ and our Father in Heaven.
