Be Relentless while pursuing your journey because at the end you will reap great rewards.
I had to catch myself when the word “relentless” popped up in my mind… out of the blue… well the truth of the matter – it did not just come up out of air. This word relentless was as a result of a “tiff” I had and a very unnecessary and irrelevant one. But I hasten to share that oftentimes it is in the irrelevant that the enemy… hold up! wait. Let me not give this one to the enemy because sometimes we give him more credit than he is due. Sometimes it is us.
So I experienced this tiff and knowing better, I should have squashed it, which in truth I did try; but it escalated at a very fast pace before I could take full control. So let me backup a little … I will lay this one on the enemy, because, as the word relentless popped in my head along with it came the thought that the enemy is relentless in trying to steal our salvation. He uses people and circumstances to get to us, HE DOES NOT GIVE UP. And in the same breath, we should also be relentless in protecting that which gives us hope for a better life.
It feels like a constant battle, but, it is a battle that is worth fighting for at all costs.
We must be relentless in our pursuits and in holding on to that which allows us to LIVE.
The Bible instructs us in James 4:7 to “…resist the devil and he will flee from you”. The word “resist” evokes a sense of continuity, never yielding, keeping at it. It evokes a feeling of us relentlessly doing that which is right until it becomes our ‘modus operandi’ enabling us to have continuous victory, despite what is presented to us.
What are your thoughts? Are you relentlessly protecting your gift, your salvation?
Please leave your comments on the above, we want to hear from you and in the meantime continue to relentlessly pursue all that you need to in order to live your best life.
Lots of love & light.
