James 1:2-4 (NIV)
Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters,whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
Nothing lacking!
As long as you are still alive after being faced with blow after blow, disappointment after disappointment, hurt after hurt, as long as you are still breathing you can get up and start again. Do not worry about others and their thoughts towards you, focus on the ones who encourage you. Rise to your feet, bring your shoulders back and begin again; after all God still has something special for you.
Life is what it is, some days will be a win and others a loss. The days that you lose is absolutely by no means a definition of you and neither are the days that are wins. We are required to rise each day and become a better version of ourselves so do not get caught up in your winnings – it may encourage complacency. Rise each day knowing that God’s plans for you are never ending there is always something greater. Greater that will facilitate complete maturity, nothing wanting and nothing lacking.
