Nobody can do for us what God can!
Aint nobody do me like you do is a famous line that we use and I use these words and say resoundingly that there is nobody in this world who can do for us what God can do. There is no one that can do us quite like the way God knows how to do. Anyone who places a man or woman before God is going down a road that brings nothing but grief and heartache.
I say that to direct my focus for a bit on single persons, this group of people more often than not find themselves unhappy because they feel lonely. They feel unable to handle the loneliness; they will do anything to have someone by their side. Sometimes the things we do to have someone by our side is not worth it.
We hold onto people and relationship that are bringing us nothing but harm to our detriment, all because we want to save face. Some women endure years of abuse, years of being mistreated because somewhere in the middle of a frequent breakdown their minds enter into a place that tells them that this is the life they deserve; that this is the life they have chosen and they will hold onto it even when they have come close to death on so many occasions. They cannot survive otherwise. Some women enter into relationships where they cannot be seen in public with the man who they call their significant other not understanding that this man does not respect them enough. They sit back and settle for the sidelines when God is telling them he will put them upfront and give them the life they are truly worthy of. So many women have gone to their graves because they never had the revelation that nobody can do for them what God can do.
I remember years ago I loved to listen to R & B music… that was my joy, it put me in a mood that transported me to a place where I found myself imagining myself in very exotic places, having the time of my life. I loved that type of music and then I discovered gospel when I turned my attention to God. Gospel music was even more potent for me than R&B. I could not imagine that Gospel could cause me to feel so much, I did not need anything else. It became everything to me. If I was feeling low all I needed to do was go play a favorite and instantly I was in a better mood. I say that to say God is all over gospel music and no one can do for me what He can.
Sometimes we put people and things before God thinking they can replace Him but I am here to say that absolutely nothing and no one can take the place of God and allow us to feel the incredible way that He can.This is my testimony that I WILL FOREVER SHARE because it has so much power, I have come to realize that no one can motivate us the way God can! Nobody can do for us what God can.
Sounds abstract? Its the truth and I will say it again. Nobody can do for us what God can!
