What is the right Moment, the right Opportunity?

All of us are given the opportunity to shine for God, but so many of us look at our situations as lacking and are looking for the right moment, the right opportunity to shine for Him. What is the right moment? What is the right opportunity?

Guess what! The Lord looks at us and he says: I know all of you, even though you are equal in my sight, I have given more responsibility to some because of their attitude to go all out. Not the ones waiting on that right moment, not the ones waiting on the right opportunity. I give great responsibility to those who start immediately knowing that I am with them and will make up where they fall short. I give greater responsibility to those who are disciplined and willing to learn from the mistakes and challenges that will come their way. I cannot use someone, who is not disciplined to do great things. What a disaster that would be. What a catastrophe would take place. It’s like the story of the master who had left and assigned a task to each of his worker. Some rose to the occasion while others did not. So you clearly see at the end of story how they were each rewarded according to their input and according to their thinking.

God desires so much from us, but, if we resign ourselves, looking for the right time. If we are not disciplined people. If we do not start making some real commitments to ourselves then we should not expect any great responsibility from God. We need to make commitments that will cause a change and a transformation in us first as individuals then the same in others. Commitments that will make God proud; commitments that will allow God to step up our game for him.

All that is required (discipline, trusting and being proactive along with being committed) is not easy but so necessary. We also need to remember that we have chosen to walk a path that requires it; a path that demands it.

Remember God will give greater responsibility to his committed army.
