Many of us do not understand the depth of the gift we have received from Jesus going to the cross, we think we know and understand, but we do not. Do not knock yourself, and do not take offense to what you are reading, just know that we do not have the capability or the wisdom to. It is not something that is held against us, but it is there to show how removed we are from The Power of God.

Isaiah 55:8-9
So the gift I refer to is the Holy Spirit. However, I am telling you nothing but the truth when I say it is profitable (good, expedient, advantageous) for you that I go away. Because if I do not go away, the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Advocate, Intercessor, Strengthener, Standby) will not come to you [into close fellowship with you]; but if I go away, I will send Him to you [to be in close fellowship with you] John 16:7.
Our Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Advocate, Intercessor, Strengthener, Standby. The Holy Spirit—who we must look to, lean on and allow to do the work in our lives that we are incapable of doing for ourselves.
A bit of transparency, I often share my fear of speaking for many reasons that I will not get into here but perhaps one day I will speak on this. So, whenever I have to publicly speak in a space where all control is really out of my hands, I turn to the holy Spirit, and Holy Spirit has never let me down. Sometimes I look back, and I am in wonder and awe to think many believe our belief to be foolishness.
The truth is that whether you believe in my God or not, you must believe in something, or your life is pretty much directionless. I think that those who refuse to believe are afraid to be proven wrong, and rather than open themselves to the possibility of an existence of significance, they hold on to their “short-sightedness”; and this short-sightedness will only lead to a meaningless existence. There are many instances where I have proven that God exists, and it is not to say my experiences are some out-of-the-world phenomena, far from it. Sometimes it is an external reinforcement of a thought that I have within me. Other times it may be something someone said that resonates so deeply that I cannot shake it. It may be while praying, and I feel an undeniable comfort and reassurance, a peace that surpasses understanding. It could be that one instance when my family trusted God for more, so now we live in abundance and overflow, never lacking. Or that time, I was in a dark place, depression overwhelming me, unsure of how my life would turn out and look at me now.
The Holy Spirit is our gift (as Christians) that enables us to stand in a time and in a world where it is so difficult to stand. These are not the easiest times to live in; we exist alongside many diseases, atrocities, and separations caused by ideologies. No moral compass with selfish and self-centered people. The JOY is: Holy Spirit will give you the strength and all that is needed to wake up each morning in faith, knowing that all is well if you keep focused on where your strength lies.
A new Life, reserved just for you, awaits you! A life by design—designed by the best there is, a life pre-destined as you need it to be.
