You love him even though you have never seen him. Though you do not see him now, you trust him; and you rejoice with a glorious, inexpressible joy. The reward for trusting him will be the salvation of your souls.

It is no easy feat to give your life to Christ and begin the most incredible and exhilarating journey of your life. It is not easy because it is a walk of faith and a journey that requires an unwavering belief system in something that is not physical.
As humans, it is easier to deal with the things we can see but quite the opposite when we cannot see. Many of us struggle with this aspect of our journey, and there are persons who will quickly say we are brainwashed or on the harsher side of the spectrum—silly. My many personal encounters with my unseen God have all led me to the point where no one can cause me to waver about the choice I have made.
Quite recently, I voiced that the people we can see cannot really help us with situations that often weigh us down. We talk to anyone available, but all we are doing is giving them access to our sacred space without getting the relief we need. However, when we quiet down and truly seek God, sharing our thoughts, fears, and all—relief from our worries comes to us. Am I alone in this thought?
Relief comes through our connection, faith, and trust in God, who we cannot see, but by faith believe in and trust in.
“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”
Jeremiah 17:7-8
Faithful believers, be just that, faithful! Our reward for believing in, and trusting in God, who we cannot see, is eternal salvation. The evidence is around us as we witness the beauty of creation. The intricate and complex yet marvelous process of birthing babies. The relief we experience when we place our cares at His feet and receive the peace that we need that comes from only HIM.
Trust in God; you are on the best path, and the reward is the salvation of our souls.
