Where there is fear there in no impact.

Where there is fear there in no impact.

God’s people must be bold.

There is a reason why God said that we must be BOLD. He knows the enemy will fill our heads and our minds with insecure thoughts about ourselves, you see the enemy knows our triggers. He knows how to make us feel like we are not good enough. Not qualified. We need people. We must get validation from others.  We are clueless. We are not smart enough. He helps us to compare and measure ourselves against others and succeed in wiping our memory clean of the truth that we are unique, created in the image of a Father who not only loves us but also knows what He is doing. These are the weapons that he uses to keep us under his bondage and we must get rid of the script that plays over and over in our head.

We must get rid of the façade and the need to live up to the expectations of others; forgetting in the process that our Father’s expectations are what counts.

Our lives are not about us and this one thought we must keep in the periphery of our brain. If we feel ill-equipped it is a good thing; it is a reminder to us that whatever we have been given to do is bigger than us and is certainly not for us to do in our own might. It means that just like Moses, Gideon; Elijah, Esther, David, and the others in the bible – he will equip us. Let us stop thinking about how we look, feel, what “they” will say and do what God has purposed us to do. Believe that if there is a gap or missing element He will take care of it. Let us walk out our purpose in boldness and faith, trusting God 100 %.

Get rid of the script. Get rid of the façade.

The sad thing about life in general and our life is that when we continue to allow the enemy and ourselves (because you are a party to it all) to lead our actions by not trusting in God it prevents us from being truly effective. Another sad thing is that God’s plans for our life and the part we play in impacting his kingdom is serious business, something that we do not grasp as quickly as we should. Once again we are not called to ourselves, we are called to and for others. And if we allow the enemy to  bury us under insecurities the people who we are called to will not benefit. We would not have fulfilled God’s call on our life.

Get rid of the script.
