Remembering that life is what it is, and that there are things outside of my control, always take me back in alignment with who I am. That I am a winner.
The truth is, there are things in this life we will be able to influence and then, there are the others.
What we must remember as we go through is that we operate from a place that is victorious irrespective. It does not matter what things may look like in the physical, we are victorious at the end of the day because Jesus gave us that to stand on and to believe in. In believing this simple truth sets us free.
I’m not sure how many of us understand what this victory stance means. It simply means the energy we expend on trying to be perfect or unwilling to move out of our comfort zone is unnecessary. The hours we spend worrying or trying to change the unchangeable are just hours that we could spend better.
It therefore means that we must walk in confidence irrespective of what we encounter knowing that we are still a winner. We may not see it in the present circumstance but belief changes everything. That is faith – we do not have to see it to believe it. We just know that we are.
So then – the things we cannot influence in our direction we must move beyond. It means that we are not perfect and life is not perfect. We must be willing to exercise our faith and belief in what Jesus says about us and what He has made us to be… That we are victorious and we are a winner! Always!
