I allow my intuition to lead my path. Manuel Puig
This past week was a bit of a challenge for me as I encountered the “resurrection” of some things that I would consider to be wonderful, including people I once gravitated towards, possibilities of being in the “right” circle, in other words the opportunities of what I quickly realised would be a short lived version of Joy. I easily saw myself back in a place that usually felt good but was not good.
I could see myself opening to many so called good influences but through it all there was one thing – it never felt right (thank heavens for intuition). What I realized was, all of the things that suddenly seemed attractive I had walked away from before, and, in so doing discovered a better place for me.
The world is filled with many influences, most of which are seemingly above board and could be seamlessly integrated in our lives and cause us to feel like we are on the right track. But, when that gut feeling comes along that says “hey! Stop … this looks and feel good but is it really”… what do we do?
Once again I thank heaven for intuition.
So what do we do?
Do we take charge or do we allow ourselves to go back to that which we know is not good for us?
Are we in control and can quickly recognize the danger of returning to our comfort zone?
Are we able to distinctly separate “God’s good” and “good”?
Do we stand our ground when the world presents us with a so called better option?
Thank God for intuition, if we follow it we will be okay!
“Intuition is always right in at least two important ways;
It is always in response to something.
it always has your best interest at heart”
― Gavin de Becker
