We have to be careful of feeling comfortable with just being Christian

I think when persons hear the word ministry they immediately believe that it is something designated for a chosen few. Perhaps the pastor and the church leaders?

Ministry is not for some of us but it is for all of us to engage in. It is the great commission that Jesus gave to all of us as believers when He left earth. To continue what He started, letting all who need him, know, that there is a gift He has given to all of us. Life everlasting – once we believe in Him.

Ministry is serving God by telling those around us of the impact He has made in our lives. In other words, our lives should be the perfect example for others to witness Jesus’ incredible effect so that they will want the same for themselves.

It is not okay to call ourselves Christians and “hoard” God’s goodness towards us, to ourselves. We have to be careful of feel comfortable with just being Christians we are mandated to share our knowledge of Christ with others.

We have to be practical about this life, there are many lost people out there. What a huge difference it will make when we begin to move beyond ourselves and help them to find Him through sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with them.

Jesus did it for many and he expects us to do the same.

Begin ministering today. Plant a seed of knowledge of Christ in someone – that is all that is required and you are more than qualified to, (just in case you are wondering :-)).
