We begin by healing ourselves, our hearts, our mind and even our physical bodies. We surrender to everything that we are afraid of, we surrender to everything that we have no control of. We begin to heal by accepting ourselves as we are; the flaws and all but in accepting we move from who we are, to who we need to become. We become – by allowing God’s Spirit to intertwine with ours, consuming us, changing us, molding us, shaping us into our best selves. We give over control of our whole being and watch and see the transformation that takes place. It has to be a wholesome approach to being healed with unwavering belief that we can be healed. It can never be a half-hearted approach or it will be a waste of time. You will be healed to see that you can exist in a world filled with every undesirable thing that can be thought of, but those very things will not affect you. In Psalm 91:7-13 it speaks to “Though a thousand fall at my side, though ten thousand are dying around me, the evil will not touch me. I will see how the wicked are punished, but I will not share it. For Jehovah is my refuge! I choose the God above all gods to shelter me. 10 How then can evil overtake me or any plague come near? For he orders his angels to protect you wherever you go. They will steady you with their hands to keep you from stumbling against the rocks on the trail. You can safely meet a lion or step on poisonous snakes, yes, even trample them beneath your feet!” Despite what we may exist (and I choose the word exist for a reason, that is what we do day to day exist without real meaning) surrounded by, once we are healed through Jesus Christ, things and people and situations may come up against us, but, it will not cause us any harm.
We can recapture this world, it is ours to take back from the enemy, it is time for us to wake up and realize that this is a war that is bigger than us. The enemy means us no good and for those of you who do not believe that there is an enemy, I will pray for you, but understand that this is a fight for our souls and we have to play our part. We have to declare that there is no way that the enemy will win and that we will fight with the name of Jesus. The Bible tells us in James that we should resist the enemy and he will flee from us. We have to do our part, we have to stand up and we have to speak out, in a clear and positive tone that we have the victory. We have to let the enemy know, whose we are. That we have chosen a path of blessings and constant joy filled with grace and no sin. We are what we have chosen for ourselves and we have to declare it openly because the enemy cannot read minds. We have to say it out Loud and we have to say it strong with strong conviction. We have to declare over our lives and believe what we are saying, we have to make it so clear so that our lives can really be filled with our declaration, no more half believing, no more hiding our true selves… when we hide we give our power to the enemy.
