Blessings cannot seem too good to last for God’s chosen people, never question your blessings! Instead, walk in confidence, knowing that a life of blessings is what you have chosen for yourself. It will last once we are in-tuned with God’s spirit and doing all that he desires of us. JpJ
Faith is integral in our experience of life, faith is what makes an ordinary day seems extraordinary. Faith is what we send before us to receive the impossible onto ourselves. Faith is what causes the fear of today and tomorrow to become a thing of the past. So, when our faith grows to the point where we understand that it allows all of the things that we desire in life to become real. When we no longer have the worries. When our days are filled with nonstop good feelings. When the blessings seem too good to be true – why does the fear of blessings too good to last haunt us? Why does the worry of the blessings being too good to last come to the fore of our minds?
The fear returns because we really never “truly” understand God’s love for us and our unity with him through our acceptance of Jesus. That is why Paul prayed for us that we truly understand the depth of God’s love for us in this passage of Ephesians 3:18-19 (AMP). “That you may have the power and be strong to apprehend and grasp with all the saints [God’s devoted people, the experience of that love] what is the breadth and length and height and depth [of it]; [That you may really come] to know [practically, through experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled [through all your being] unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]!”
Once we understand God’s love for us:-
- we will not fear that the good feelings and blessings in our lives will not remain consistently with us.
Understanding God’s tremendous love for us will:-
- allow us to accept that our circumstances will hold negatives but those negatives are minor relative to our blessings.
When God wows us with continued blessings we will not even think that it is too good to last. We will know that blessings are automatic for God’s people! We will understand that the feeling of euphoria and freedom from the shackles of the world is second nature in a Christian’s life. God’s blessings will not be a surprise to us. We will be confident in God’s love and know without a doubt that when God blesses us there is no wonder but an understanding of the blessed life we have CHOSEN for ourselves. We will understand that this is how our lives will be once we are walking in His will, truly surrendered. The blessings that seem too good to last, simply demonstrate how our lives will be going forward.
Let us pray that we will not wonder about our blessings, but, that we will walk in confidence and demonstrate the kind of life that others can see and want too. They can have what we have and that is the potential of living everyday of our lives worry free. Moving towards a life that allows us to live eternally with God in that place he has prepared for us.
