Forgive me dear if I seem overly excited, excitement that cannot be contained.

Forgive me if I got the news and you did not, I am willing to share, do you want to hear?

Yes! You say, but do you really want to hear? Ok then, listen clearly.

I am happy because I deserve to be, I was told.

I am excited by my God who reigns over me, guiding my every step.

I am excited by just waking up this morning, having the ability to breathe.

I am excited because when I fall; I am assured my God will pick me up.

I am excited by the knowledge that he fills my cup, with more than I need.

I am excited simply because he placed excitement in me.

Just knowing that I have someone to run to and that I am free,

To be who I want to be, no pretense in order to be seen.

So you see, I have a lot to be excited about.

Oh! One other thing, the most important thing

I am excited because he died for you and for me.

No longer do we have to worry about our life, he has traded our death for immortality.

So I am excited, we should all be excited

We will live forever, but there is one catch we have to accept him as our Lord and Savior.

So you ask as if to say, there is nothing exciting in life.

There is, more than I can tell you, it is an experience waiting for you.

So run, run to it and grasp it with all you have,

Get immortality, so we can see each other when we get to eternity.

Lets be like Paul who mastered the art of being happy through Christ.
