If I was made in his image surely I have seen God’s face
we are a reflection of him, both you and me.
If I look up to the heavens and observe the blue skies surely I will see God’s face,
in the magnificence of his creation, a beauty undefined.
If I come across a beggar on the street surely I have seen God’s face
represented in the lowest of circumstances, prompting me to help.
If I see a baby’s unreserved smile surely I have seen God’s face
then I realize the  innocence I have easily thrown away.
If I see a mother running after an ungrateful child surely I have seen God’s face
never giving up on you, never giving up on me.
If I see a husband hugging his wife surely I have seen God’s face
that ever present, unquestionable promise of comfort and protection.
If I see the elderly providing the youth with wisdom surely I have seen God’s face,
similar to reading the inspired book of Solomon.
If I just observe everything around me, I will see God’s face, reaching out in all aspect of this journey
Reaching out in all of his wonder and glory.

Affirm: I will take the time to see God’s face in all aspect of life, so I can appreciate every moment of this journey. It is well and I am well.
