I have so much pain within, yet I only see healing
Hatred is directed towards me, yet I choose to express only love.
Insurmountable debt swimming in, yet I will live prosperous in God’s love.
I never had time to stop and smell the coffee, I now choose to drink it.
I was always on the go until I heard that quiet voice telling me to be still,
No, I’m not pretending, all that I now live is genuine.
I use to be scared of my future now I walk fearlessly, God is in control,
I use to know some amount of happiness now I have unabated joy.
I would watch and compare now I know I am all that I need
I was weighed down by the world, but God has given me freedom from the world.
I may not have all that I desire but I have all that I need
