(HIGHER LEVEL Higher Devil ). I’ve heard this saying before, I can appreciate it for what it is and understand why it would be said. All of this appreciation would have been external to me of course until I had to say it for myself.
I had gone through a rough night, it was now morning. I was still in the same place (feelings wise) from the night before, and allow me to interject here, no, I was not in my feelings. Have you ever had someone close to you say something to you that ‘rocked your world’… and, not in the happy way like Michael Jackson’s song; but in a way that hurt like no other hurt. I might have been having the blues a tad bit or perhaps it’s the cabin fever I’m experiencing being locked away by ‘Rona’. Yes! I think that is the precise reason, this is affecting more than it should. Anyhow I’m digressing, so back to the matter.
I was hurt by the utterance of someone close to me that put my head in a tailspin. Now, I am a woman of God. I know who I am. I know what I’m up against. I stand with ‘Stella’ that there are demons living among us. I know that the enemy will use his minions in battle against us via those we love if they allow him to. I know we don’t fight against flesh and blood. The utterance could have been just that, something said without any harm behind it, but…. within me that was not my reality.
And so as I laid in bed having prayed about the situation and for everyone involved. Having returned to peace, having gotten up and brushed my teeth then settled back under the covers, I heard the words “ higher level, higher devil”.
It came so still, so quietly, no gusto, yet so strongly. I had a flashback to a prophecy of word spoken over my life the morning of the day all of this happened. I would recall the private message sent and the written words and I thought to myself ha! That’s it, and that was all I needed to return to my place of power in Christ.
You see whether we accept, believe or not, that’s up to us. Some of us see what’s happening and we choose to ignore. Some of us prefer to not acknowledge what we are up against and then there are some of us who are clueless Christians. Then there are those of us who will fight and speak out for all of us.
Higher level, higher devil – I accept the calling on my life, I understand the battle that we are in. I also understand that it’s a battle that Jesus has already won. The enemy is cunning enough to place in our minds that we are still fighting; using people and situations to derail our efforts. There are many things we face that I assure you are not real yet they seem to be.
They are distractions, trying to keep us from experiencing life the way we should. If only we would choose to not react to everything but understand that when we ignore a thing it may just go away… The enemy wants us to keep fighting for a victory that we already have… but I want to remind us all that the battle has already been won. Satan has already been defeated through Jesus.
People of God let us return to our place of peace and power. Understanding that Satan has no power over us through Christ. God’s word tells us – He has given us authority to trample on lions and scorpions…
What does that tell you? Face the fact. As you rise to a Higher Level there will be greater challenges, ask the rich man as he gets richer what happens. It’s just life.
But we must be prepared to deal with those higher devils as they come. Know your truth, know who God is to you and who you are to him and remember that victory is yours already through Christ.
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
