The Power of Yielding is unmistakable once we give in.

Have you ever taken an alone moment?

Perhaps like me you get inspired at odd times, like when you are about to take a shower or you are in your kitchen cooking.

Whatever you are doing or wherever you may be at the time, I am sure I am not alone when I ask you this…. Have you ever gotten a word that pops up in your mind, out of the blue, unconnected to anything you were previously doing?

When it happens- you have no choice but to acknowledge that it belongs to you and no one else. You accept the gift of a direct message from the man above!

Sometimes God gives us that one word that we need that will change our lives and our circumstances. A word that is so powerful that there is no denying that it is yours.

I was recently given that one word – yield.

The  manner in which that word came through, there was no mistake, it  for me and a particular situation I had. A situation that did require me to yield and give it over to my father.

I know it is most people’s desire to live an easy life; we, however choose the hard way of fighting our battles single-handedly. We also try to control our situation as much as we can, not knowing that there is an easier way to life than the one we are currently trying to live for ourselves. It was made clear to me that yielding (in my situation) would get me back on track as I had fallen off…

If only we recognize the power of yielding and allowing God to take over our lives and to direct our footsteps or path.

I encourage you today to look intently at your circumstance, perhaps like me you need to yield in order to re-align yourself with your truth. Submit to the power of yielding and allow yourself to be transported to a place that allows you freedom from the cares of this world and to live your best.

Sometimes that’s all it takes.
