Hebrews 5:12-14 (TLB)
You have been Christians a long time now, and you ought to be teaching others, but instead you have dropped back to the place where you need someone to teach you all over again the very first principles in God’s Word. You are like babies who can drink only milk, not old enough for solid food. And when a person is still living on milk it shows he isn’t very far along in the Christian life, and doesn’t know much about the difference between right and wrong. He is still a baby Christian! You will never be able to eat solid spiritual food and understand the deeper things of God’s Word until you become better Christians and learn right from wrong by practicing doing right.
In this journey you will and must kick a few people to the curb. You will pull some from the curb, and then, you will continue to grow with those that have been with you from day one of this journey. Your aim is to grow and not to be stuck and kept in a small place unable to move. If you are thinking the same way as you were 5 years ago you might as well kick yourself to the curb. Life is about growing and constant movement, not one of missing the keys lessons in life; lessons that will take you where you need to be and also to put you in a position where you can authentically impact others as well.
Where are you today in the bigger picture of God’s purpose for your life? Do you have to revisit those things you already know, are you seeking the same wisdom that was shared with you already? Do you feel like you constantly need others to pour into you? Know this, at some point you will need to wean yourself, you know what it takes, you know what you need to do. Stop allowing fear and doubt to creep in and cause you to think that you are not ready to move into what God and the Spirit is telling you that you need to do.
Do not allow negative thoughts to hold you back, it is time to move on. It is God’s will that you move on and become his warrior who will declare His salvation and free gift to all who are lost. It is time to impact lives by just being your authentic and wonderful self, having the confidence that comes from the Holy Spirit within you.
Your days of hiding are no more, it is time says the Lord. It is your time. Are you going to move?

There are a lot of hurting people existing in the world today, people who know they can be so much more. It’s the same with you, you are not doing justice to yourself and to the world in general when you remain stuck.
