I didn’t die. I lived!
And now I’m telling the world what God did.
Woke up this morning with this verse on my mind, and as I reflect, I think there are many people who need to hear and say this simple message in their circumstances. Many of us needing to meditate on this verse that is a simple utterance but has so much power behind it.
I believe that there are many going through challenges right now, ready to give up and suffer a slow painful death, not because they want to but because they do not apply scriptures to their lives and to their circumstances. Even when they believe they do not understand that life is as a result of knowing who God is to us. That even in the storms of life that seems hard to bear, He will cause us to live and not die. It is through surviving each storm that our faith builds and we have the wonderful opportunity of allowing others to see His goodness.
Oftentimes we do not see changes taking place immediately and so we begin to falter. Even when we believe and are filled with faith our inability to await the manifestation of what will come causes us to harbor unbelief, and so, that which we hope for does not become our reality.
I encourage you to hold on to that faith and understand that despite everything you will live and not die. You may be tested real hard but God will not allow you to die because you have a responsibility to speak of His goodness in your life.
