It is an awesome day here where I am in the … not too hot, not cold. Just wonderful with the right amount of breeze on the outside moving the trees and flowers and creating a rhythm that is taking my breath away. Is it not an awesome feeling when we are able to sense God in his own creation? Moments like these I feel the closest to God especially because I sense there is some form of transition taking place in the movement … that causes me to recognizes he is all that I need.
I tell you as you read this, that, there is nothing more fulfilling than knowing, but most of all understanding the Love of God in moments like this. I can feel Paul’s word reverberate in my ears, not in a physical way but somewhat sensory when he wrote in Ephesians 3:17-19 (AMP)
“so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through your faith. And may you, having been [deeply] rooted and [securely] grounded in love, be fully capable of comprehending with all the saints (God’s people) the width and length and height and depth of His love [fully experiencing that amazing, endless love]; and [that you may come] to know [practically, through personal experience] the love of Christ which far surpasses [mere] knowledge [without experience], that you may be filled up [throughout your being] to all the fullness of God [so that you may have the richest experience of God’s presence in your lives, completely filled and flooded with God Himself].”
A deep understanding of God’s love for us is needed; I think it would change the world by first changing our lives. If we can rest in the arms of our husbands or even our earthly fathers and feel so secure, how much better can we feel if we rest in the arms of God and in the knowledge of who he is to us and more importantly who we are to him.
In John 15:13 (AMP) it tell us “No one has greater love [nor stronger commitment] than to lay down his own life for his friends”.
That is what God did for us; there is nothing greater than this expression of love. Rest in God today, he cares a great deal about you, just you in this moment as you read this. Experience God by taking time out to appreciate him through nature, take time to see beyond your circumstances and enter into his secret place and that is a place where it is just you and him. One on one, allowing him to shower down his love on you and show you how much he will take care of you, how much he will give you his peace and a knowing that he is all that you need.
God is an awesome and wonderful Father get to know him.
