Recovery
Do you feel like life is just not what you would like it to be, have you given up on yourself. Are you comparing your life to others and feeling less than, then I suggest there is a need for recovery in your life TODAY…
Command your season of recovery immediately but not on your own accord. You are able to recover because that is God’s will for you. Too many Christians are living thinking that if they are lacking in any area it is God’s will or God is teaching them a lesson… Not so.
As true Christians we can never think that God wants us sick, or that he is teaching us a lesson or allowing us to lack in any area of our lives because the bible tells us otherwise. A true Christian understands the power of the spoken word and so will speak blessings. A true Christian will understand that there comes a time when we just have to take back (recover) and take hold of what is ours; everything that is aligned to God’s will for our lives. A true Christian understands that God wants them blessed and wants them successful and wants them to enjoy life. They understand that they have to exist in the world without being a part of the world. When we get to the point where we are truly seeking Christ, the things of the world that gives us comfort and satisfaction will just be that. We will not attach significance and importance to them because they are not representative of who we are.
God wants us blessed and living in His Joy manifesting his goodwill towards us. Why would He tell us in Matthew 5:16 (TLB) “don’t hide your light! Let it shine for all; let your good deeds glow for all to see, so that they will praise your heavenly Father“. We need to recover the things that allow us to live wholesome the way God desires us to, so that we will draw others to Him.
So as a true Christian we begin to recover what the enemy has taken from us, every blessing of peace, joy, abundance that was provided. Not living with lack and depression and worry, not knowing who we are. So we take hold of what the enemy has stolen from us, it’s not a joke, it’s not a game and we need to take control of ourselves and our lives. Right now!
We recover by speaking the right words over our lives…positive words that reflect the kind of life we desire. See the following Bible verses which support recovery.
· Psalm 37:4 (TLB) “Be delighted with the Lord. Then he will give you all your heart’s desires”.
· Proverbs 4:23(NLT) “Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life”.
· Mark 11:23 (KJV) “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith”.
· Proverbs 18:21 (AMP) “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it and indulge it will eat its fruit and bear the consequences of their words”.
A short way to recovery – Assess your life and where you know you are falling short in belief. Pray about the unbelief and that God will open the door to cause the recovery. Next, write down what you need to recover – it may be the following…

Peace over a situation.

The ability to remain joyful.
-
Financial recovery
-
Forgiving ourselves
Then for the next 30 days be focused and speak positively to the situation and watch the recovery take place.
