…the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness…

Imagine being able to be happy despite what is going on in our lives. This is God’s promise to us, His people. We have access to so many promises that can make our lives advance and be more fulfilling, if only we stop focusing on our problems and focus on our Heavenly Father. The problems (as we call them) are mere distractions that Satan uses to oppress us and keep us stuck in ways that run contrary to God’s will for our lives. God promises us that he will clothe us with the garment of praise and take away the spirit of heaviness that surrounds us.

Understand that greater awaits you; see your father waiting and willing to trade your spirit of heaviness weighing you down for the garment of praise. See Him for all He is, the All-knowing, All-powerful, Almighty Father. There is no sickness, no disease, no problem, no lack, no hurt, no rejection… no sin that is greater than your Father’s ability to remove from you, heal you from, redeem you from, restore you from, rebuild you from. God will clothe you in the garment of praise and remove the spirit of heaviness that is weighing you down today. Get connected with Him that is the only way he will be able to give this promise to you. Renew your relationship with Him today, right now… and open yourself to the ability to praise even when you are in dire straits.
