God will never ever give us a blow by blow account of “the process of life”. I know, I know it’s human to want to know which way to go and which way to turn. Admittedly this has been my struggle, but guess what, without struggle, there is no process and without process there is no growth in any form.
Growth facilitates trust, unwavering faith, building godly confidence, determination, consistency, resilience, fortitude and we can go on and on with all the adjectives we can think about. You do not have to think real hard and it will hit you that these are the characteristics that give us an awesome and somewhat magical and deep testimony that will undoubtedly help someone in this journey that we are all on called a wonderful life. We will choose to see life no other way.
So I am encouraging you today to be happy that there is no blow by blow account of life. Enjoy the ups and down that life gives. Enjoy the good and bad, the triumphs and the defeats, the joy and the sadness … It is all relevant and much needed if we are going to understand this concept of being made in God’s image. It is all relevant to becoming your “awesomest” self ever (am I allowed to use that word even though it does not exist?). You will be the one that will reign in victory, eventually the one that will become Christ-like because ultimately that’s our goal, isn’t it?
Be thankful for process as it contains good living. Back strengthening. Nothing can touch me-ism. It’s just so exciting when I think about it. Listen loves life is great. It is what it is. We cannot fight it but we can accept it and succeed by identifying the positives, changing ourselves and our circumstances that we have control to change and know that through this journey that we are all on, all the challenges and greatness that this life will bring to us we have a choice; and our choice is to remain constant in three powerful things that will allow the peace that surpasses all understanding to enter our midst and these three things are happiness, gratitude and love. Keep doing.
