Why in the world would I form habits! That’s not me or I cannot be bothered or I dont have that in me, you might say, but, guess what!!!
I have come to realize that not every day will be a performance at optimal level and that is why habit formation, consistency, intentionality and dedication should be a part of us. So that the day we fall off, we will operate nonetheless because we are already wired a certain way, we have already formed good habits.
It’s like I tell my husband, after a long day at work and I jump in my car; the car gets me home. Habit gets our day “done” even when our “drive” is nonexistent.
