I yield to you Lord. I yield to you
There’s no more me, I am filled only with you.
Your grace and glory I want to shine through
I yield to you Lord only to you.
I yield to you lord, I yield to you
To take me higher and higher to a deeper life where I dwell only in you.
Keep me in your will Lord, never to depart.
I yield to you lord only to you.
I yield to you Lord, I yield to you
Reveal to me your secrets let me know the fullness of you.
Calm my heart when the winds unsettle me
I yield to you lord only to you.
I yield to you lord, I yield to you
I look around at your wondrous creation, I am in awe of your infinite ways.
I look to your love and to your secret place
I yield to you lord only to you.
I yield to you Lord I yield to you
Have your way with me, Whatever you say I will do.
Crush the enemy from my path, trample him underfoot on my behalf
I yield to You Lord only to you.
Yielding to God can be difficult for the best of us, even Jesus asked God in Luke 22:42 “Father, if you are willing, please take this cup of suffering away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine” that is true yielding. If we want to be champions in God’s glory; if we want to be used as an instrument for his light to shine through us, we should surrender. Yielding to God means that we no longer want to be in control but we understand that He knows what is best for us. Yielding is wanting him to do what is best for us. So we say in no uncertain terms to God. Have Your Way, We Yield Only To You!!!!
