James 1:16-18. (MSG) So, my very dear friends don’t get thrown off course. Every desirable and beneficial gift comes out of heaven. The gifts are rivers of light cascading down from the Father of Light. There is nothing deceitful in God, nothing two-faced, nothing fickle. He brought us to life using the true Word, showing us off as the crown of all his creatures.
Know that when we want “LIFE” we can have it.
God’s desire is that we are permanently full of Joy demonstrating his goodness. He wants to be proud of us just as we will be proud that we stayed His course and came out triumphant, being our best self. That is God’s desire for his special people. God gives all good things God does not put us in harm way.
God does not tempt us as the foolish would think, all temptation originates from us. It’s easy to think like that when we give into the pressures of the enemy.( BUT IT IS ALL OUR DOING). (James 1:13-15).
Life is a process, becoming who we need to be is a process. We do not need to DWELL on things we did in the past and even things we will do as Christians. Just confess to God and leave it right there, do not dwell on it. That is the enemy’s way of keeping us in the bondage of sin and making us feel unworthy. God understands that we will fall short. God has our back He only wants us to do what He desires of us and He will transform us. Do Not Dwell in the Past, Confess it and Leave It.
-Challenges will come but we cannot buckle under the weight.
-Temptation will come but we will stand strong knowing that we should resist the devil and he will flee from us.
-Fear will try to get into our hearts but we will remember that though we walk through the valley of the shadow of death we will fear no evil because Our God is with us protecting us through it all.
We must remember James 1 :2-4 which encourages us to embrace our challenges. Not to try to get out of it prematurely but allow the challenges to do its work in our lives so we will become mature well developed and not deficient in anyway.
God’s desire for us;
-To become confident, full of the power he has equipped us with.
-Walk with confidence knowing we are his sons and daughters.
-Walk with confidence self assured knowing where we are going.
-Help others to have the same experience by telling them the good news.
Not to get caught up with the lie of short lived prosperity, short lived worldly achievements but to focus on the fact that we were meant to partake in something far greater and longer, something that will last forever. We were meant to last forever. That is the gift of eternal life.
