Distractions will come, it has started already. Do not feel let down, EXPECT THEM!!! RESIST THEM! They will flee from you.

It’s day 7 into the New Year and I wonder how many of us are beginning to feel a bit overwhelmed, wondering if we will be able to stay the course and achieve the goals we have decided on. Distractions are coming at us full force; Distractions in the form of thoughts saying to us   “yea, right! You cannot stay the course, these goals are not achievable!”  Thoughts brimming at the surface of our mind, ready to spill over into our life and become truth. How many of us have these thoughts trying to force their way to the fore of our minds, into our hearts, working against us, trying to stop the progress that has begun for the New Year.

Well if you are feeling  that way, let us resolve that the tactics of the enemy will not work. Let us declare it openly and let us uproot the enemy’s seeds from our minds and our hearts. We have chartered a course for this year… we will see it through with the help of the Holy Spirit. Let us call on God as many times as we need to; to refresh us, to refresh our minds and our hearts. Let us prepare the soil of our minds and hearts to receive God’s seeds of purpose, focus and determination as we move towards becoming who we are called to be. The people of God realizing our purpose, God’s purpose for us. Let us Stand strong, Stand firm, Stand resolute and declare this over our lives…

God’s will is paramount and nothing shall stop us from fulfilling the purpose he has laid out for us. Help me God to fulfill your purpose!
