Purpose, Passion & Pleasure/ Affirmation

Our purpose allows us to have passion in our lives which will  fuel the pleasure we will experience daily. JPJ

Every day we encounter situations that throw us off course but thank God for those who have realized their purpose in life because that is what keeps them afloat. That is what keeps them focused.

Our purpose keeps us focused.

Living with purpose is not self centered. Living with purpose is instead about sharing. Making sure our purpose in life (our calling) reaches our intended audience. The audience that God has placed in our lives and are waiting for our impact in their lives.

I read a quote by Fabienne Fredrickson  that says the things we are passionate about are not random, but they are our calling (our purpose). So I recently watched  a program featuring successful women who left their nine to five jobs to start a business doing the thing they were most passionate about. These women spoke about experiencing purpose, passion, pleasure  and success they never dreamed possible. Not everyone are called to leave their jobs that is not what I am suggesting, some persons are called to do a nine to five job (smile). I am saying that passion should be involved in what we do.

Our comfort zone is really not our comfort if we think about it.

It is hard for me to imagine letting go of my comfort zone, but listening to the women gave me courage . When we venture outside of our comfort zone and move towards fulfilling our calling; it will take us into a reality we never dreamed was possible. We just have to do what it takes.

God is written all over our purpose, is it that we do not trust him? We have to trust him.

When we find our purpose and start living our purpose the result will be true unadulterated pleasure. We will live each day with pure joy knowing that we are in a relationship with God and trusting him to do what’s best for us.

Psalm 16:11 (TLB)You have let me experience the joys of life and the exquisite pleasures of your own eternal presence”.

comfortAffirm: I open myself to continuously seeking God’s purpose in my life . This allows me to experience passion and live daily experiencing the exquisite pleasures of God’s own eternal presence in my life. It is well and I am well.
